'Kooza' Extends SF Engagement thru January 20

Due to overwhelming demand, Cirque du Soleil has added the final 17 performances of Kooza to its limited San Francisco engagement. There will be no further extensions; Kooza must close in San Francisco on Sunday, January 20, 2008.

Kooza is now performing in San Francisco under the blue and yellow Grand Chapiteau at the AT&T Park parking lot (corner of Third St. and Terry A. Francois Blvd.). Tickets for all performances may be purchased online at www.cirquedusoleil.com or by calling 1 800 361-4595.

"Kooza is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil that combines two circus traditions - acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor. Between strength and fragility, laughter and smiles, turmoil and harmony, Kooza explores themes of identity, recognition and power. The show is set in an electrifying and exotic visual world full of surprises, thrills, chills, audacity and total involvement," explain press notes.

San Francisco Performance Schedule:

Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8PM; Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 4PM & 8PM; Sundays at 1PM & 5PM.  There will be no performances on Tues December11, Tues December 25, Tues January 1 and Tues January 15. Schedule is subject to change without notice.

Ticket Prices (taxes included):
· $55-$90 for adults;
· $38.50-$63 for children aged 2 to 12 inclusive;
· $49.50-$81 for students 13 and older, as well as seniors, weekdays only.

A VIP Tapis Rouge package includes one of the best seats in the house, as well as access to the VIP suite one hour before the show and during intermission. The adult package is available for $210 and the child package for $147 (aged 2 to 12 years old). Prices include taxes.
