On what would have been Frank Sinatra's actual 100th birthday, celebrated jazz artist Jonathan Poretz, who starred in the long-running Las Vegas production The Rat Pack is Back, makes his Feinstein's at the Nikko with HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FRANK! Among the songs scheduled to be performed: "I've Got You Under My Skin," Where Or When," "All Or Nothing At All," "I've Got The World On A String," "The Summer Wind," "The Best Is Yet To Come," "My Way," New York, New York," "That's Life" and many more.

Some say he was born with a microphone in his hand. That would explain why Pacific Coast Jazz artist Jonathan Poretz is so comfortable performing his brand of great American jazz standards to audiences large and small. Whether appearing in an intimate club or a large outdoor venue, Jonathan brings an electric energy to any stage he's on, a talent he's been cultivating since his early teens, when he sang professionally in bands that featured jazz greats including Charlie Shavers, Chuck Wayne and Joe Puma in his home town of New York City.

Blending the swinging vocal stylings of Sinatra, Torme, Bennett and Darin, Jonathan is equally comfortable performing with a trio or a 17-piece big band, putting his own unique stamp on every song he sings and every story he tells through the great American standard songbook.

Jonathan has toured the country as Frank Sinatra in The Rat Pack in Back and has headlined several of the Bay Area's top nightclubs, including Yoshi's Oakland and San Francisco and The Rrazz Room. He also wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed shows, A Swingin' Night at the Sands, a big-band tribute to the musical icons of 1960s Las Vegas, and Vegas in the Valley, his salute to lounges of 1960s Vegas. He is also a regular vocalist with the Harold Jones Boss Men big band, led by legendary drummer Harold Jones, the beat behind Count Basie in the '70s and Sarah Vaughan in the '80s, and currently on tour with Tony Bennett.

Most recently, Jonathan has been starring in his own show, Sex, Swagger & Swing: Sinatra and Darin in the Concert That Never Was, which is touring performing arts centers throughout the Bay Area.
