As Marin County's only professional Shakespeare company, Marin Shakespeare proudly presents William Shakespeare's JULIUS CAESAR.

Barry Kraft and Jay Karnes star in this outdoor production of Shakespeare's play which chronicles the conspiracy and assassination of Roman dictator Julius Caesar. Part tragedy and part psychological drama, the play centers on Brutus and his struggle with loyalty and friendship when persuaded to conspire against Caesar.

Featuring Barry Kraft as Caesar, Jay Karnes as Brutus and William Elsman as Mark Anthony. Directed by Robert Currier.

From August 21 to September 26, 2009. Preview performances are Aug. 21, Aug. 22 and Aug. 23. Opening performance is Saturday, Aug. 29. Performances are 8 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays; 4 p.m. on Sundays; and 5 p.m. on Sundays Sept. 13, 20 & 27.
