Hillbarn Theatre, the Peninsula's premier community theatre company, follows up on the success of their critically acclaimed 2014-2015 season with David Auburn's award-winning play, Proof. This critically acclaimed drama is an elegant and engaging story of obsession, intellect and family bonding. Twenty-five year old Catherine must establish the authorship of a mathematical proof found in the office of her brilliant but troubled father. Following his death, she must confront her volatile emotions along with the arrival of her estranged sister and a burgeoning romance with her father's former student. When all these forces come to a head, Catherine begins to question whether she's inherited her father's talent or his madness. Proof will run March 12 - March 29, 2015 at Hillbarn Theatre (1285 East Hillsdale Blvd., Foster City). Performances are Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Press night for Proof will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015.
