High School Musical, SF Open Casting Call

Ray of Light Theatre, San Francisco's very own musical theatre company announces auditions for Disney's High School Musical!  It is being produced in association with San Francisco School of the Arts and directed by Paul Plain.

Seeking actors of all types/vocal types/experiences levels:
- Principals/Chorus: Ages 12 through 25 to play high school aged students
- Adults: 1 male, 1 female adult actors to play various roles

Please prepare16 bars of a pop song.  Bring sheet music or karaoke/backup CD (short selection around 1 minute long.  Please, no selections from the show). Please bring a headshot and resume of any theatrical experience.  If you don't have a headshot, bring a recent photo.

Open-call (no appointment necessary) audition dates are Sunday, June 10 at 10AM and Saturday, June 16 at 10AM.  Callbacks are Sunday, June 17.

Auditions are held at the School of the Arts Theatre located at 555 Portola Drive, San Francisco (at the corner of Portola and Woodside/O'Shaughnessy, enter off O'Shaughnessy; free parking).

All roles are Non-AEA and are non-paying. Rehearsals begin late August.  Performance dates are between September 20 and October 7, 2007.
