Heartbeat, directed by Dennis K. Law with choreography by Yu Su Li and Fei Bo, pays a special stop to San Francisco's Orpheum Theatre February 6 - 10.

"Welcome to Heartbeat and its rhythmic journey through the many glorious dynasties of Chinese history," states press notes, "In this show, we invite you to sample the rich heritage of Chinese percussion as experienced through the dream of the young protagonist Jade. Like our two preceding Action-Musicals, Heartbeat's simple story and message allow the show to entertain you through visually exciting action and dance forms without the need for much language-specific dialogue."

Performances are February 6-10, Tuesday - Saturday evening at 7:30PM and Saturday matinee at 1PM. Running time: 2 hours and 25 minutes with a 20-minute intermission.

Tickets ($25-$60) are available at the theatre box office, by phone at 415-512-7770 or at www.shnsf.com

The Orpheum Theatre is located at 1192 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94102.
