This summer, Feinstein's at the Nikko will present concert productions of two classic Jerry Herman musicals -- Hello, Dolly! and Mame -- as part of their new "Musicals in Concert" series.

Directed by Allen Sawyer, with Musical Direction by Joe Wicht, the "Musicals in Concert" series will feature casts of lauded Bay Area performers. Each production will be presented with limited instrumental accompaniment and minimal staging and design and will feature little-known history and behind-the-scenes tidbits about each production.

Tickets for each production range in price from $40 - $60 and are available now by calling 866.663.1063 or visiting www.feinsteinsatthenikko.com.

From July 6-10, 2016, Feinstein's at the Nikko is transformed into Harmonia Gardens as they proudly present Jerry Herman and Michael Stewart's Tony Award-winning musical classic, HELLO, DOLLY! in concert. Starring Wesla Whitfield as Dolly Levi and Mike Greensill as Horace Vandergelder, HELLO, DOLLY! will also feature Alex Rodriguez as Cornelius Hackl, Nick Quintell as Barnaby Tucker, Heather Orth as Irene Malloy and Katrina McGraw as Minnie Fay. Audiences will delight in the familiar story of the meddling widow who just wants to bring romance to everyone around her, as well as the beloved score of favorites including "It Takes a Woman," "Put on Your Sunday Clothes," "Ribbons Down My Back" "Before the Parade Passes By," "So Long Dearie," and, of course, "Hello, Dolly." Narrator Darlene Popovic will also share some interesting trivia from the show's 1964 Broadway debut, as well as the 1969 film and subsequent 1975, 1978, 1995 and, even the recently announced 2017 revival, productions. In addition, Popovic will throw in some tidbits from Jerry Herman's memoir, "Showtune." The performance schedule for HELLO, DOLLY! is as follows: Wednesday, July 6 at 7 p.m.; Thursday, July 7 at 8 p.m.; Friday, July 8 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, July 9 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, July 10 at 3 p.m.

From August 10-14, 2016, Feinstein's at the Nikko will continue the celebration of composer and lyricist Jerry Herman with a concert production of the lavish musical, MAME. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the three-time Tony Award-winning musical tells the story of MAME Dennis, an eccentric bohemian woman of wealth whose life is interrupted when she becomes the guardian for her 10-year-old nephew, Patrick. Narrated by Darlene Popovic -- who will share stories about the 1966 Broadway cast, the 1975 film and other notable productions and leading ladies -- MAME stars Meg Mackay as MAME, Sharon McNight as Vera and Jesse Cortez as Young Patrick and Patrick. The cast also features Laura Arthur, Teresa Attridge, and Branden Noel Thomas. Featuring a book by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee and music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, MAME features such memorable songs as "Bosom Buddies," "My Best Girl," "It's Today," and "MAME." The performance schedule for MAME is as follows: Wednesday, August 10 at 7 p.m.; Thursday, August 11 at 8 p.m.; Friday, August 12 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, August 13 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, August 14 at 3 p.m.
