Fetch Clay, Make Man by Will Power will make its West Coast premiere with Marin Theatre Company, directed by Derrick Sanders (Fences) and running today, August 14 - September 7, 2014, with an Opening Night slated for Tuesday, August 19. Previews: Thursday, August 14 - Sunday, August 17.

One snuck in the back door, so the other could walk in the front. Why would the shining son of the Nation of Islam seek help from one of the most vilified figures of black American culture? In this knockout new play, San Francisco native and hip-hop theater pioneer Will Power investigates an unlikely friendship of the Civil Rights Era - young heavyweight champ Muhammad Ali and disgraced actor Stepin Fetchit.
