"Sweeney Todd" is based on a 19th century legend of a barber who forms a "cutthroat" partnership with a woman who soon is making the tastiest meat pies in London. The award-winning show, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, first appeared on Broadway in 1979 and was revived on Broadway in 2005. The national tour's stop at the Fisher Theatre is the Detroit premier. For ticket information and show times visit www.BroadwayInDetroit.com or call 800-982-2787.
The simple act of donating blood has the potential to save up to three lives when the platelets, plasma and red cells are separated and given to three different patients. Every day, accident victims, cancer patients and individuals undergoing surgery need life-sustaining blood. Every day, the American Red Cross needs donors to step up, roll up their sleeves and donate.
How to Donate Blood
