The New Conservatory Theatre Center's Pride Season 12 presents the musical Convenience, November 3 through December 17.  Convenience features a book, music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin, who is also directing, with musical direction by Tim Hanson.

"A musical about family, the ties that bind and the ones we struggle to break. A single mom and her estranged 26 year-old son have news for each other, but neither can find the words nor the courage," explains press notes, "During one funny, awkward, touching week, they come to realize what so many families discover: The things they feared would tear them apart end up bringing them closer together. A mother and son learn from their broken past and the promise of a different future that they can walk through a doorway without slamming it shut forever.

"The story of Convenience is told almost entirely through
Gregg Coffin's infectious and irrepressible musical score. The semi-autobiographical lyrics are showcased in a series of more than thirty songs that are as intricate and revealing as they are entertaining and memorable. The book, lyrics and music work together to build characters that are appealing, detailed, and realistically flawed."

The cast of Convenience includes Loretta Janca (Liz), Andrew Willis-Woodward (Vince), Joy Lian (Young Liz), Mike Figueira (Abe), and Ricardo Rust (Ethan).
