Spreckels Theatre Company presents WAIT UNTIL DARK, a thrilling theater experience taking audiences on a gripping, white-knuckle ride.

Multiple award-winning North Bay actress, Denise Elia-Yen stars as Susy Hendrix. Elia-Yen performs in musicals and plays in addition to her voiceover, print, television and film work. Her most recent acting honors include two San Francisco Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Awards for Best Principal Actress for her 2014 performance as Annie Oakley in "Annie Get Your Gun" and her 2013 performance as Elizabeth Benning in a 2013 production of "Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein - The Musical."

WAIT UNTIL DARK follows the terror and torment of Susy Hendrix, a blind Greenwich Village housewife who becomes the target of three depraved and desperate criminals searching for heroin hidden in a doll. With the help of a young neighbor, Susy discovers she is at the center of a bizarre and a deadly game of cat and mouse. Refusing to be a victim, Susy uses her only weapon - her senses - as the suspense builds to a heart-stopping climax in this riveting Broadway thriller written by Frederick Knott.

David L. Yen directs the play, which will be presented in Spreckels black box theater with a supporting cast featuring Nick Christenson as Carlino; Skylar Evans as Sam; Madigan Love as Gloria; Chris Schloemp as Mike; and Erik Weiss as Roat.

Performances are presented March 11 to April 3, 2016, at Spreckels Performing Arts Center, 5409 Snyder Lane in Rohnert Park. Tickets are $16 to $26. For tickets or more information call 707-588-3400 or visit www.spreckelsonline.com.
