After a sold out performance in NYC in Feb. 2011, Critically-acclaimed  musical theater singer and comedic cabaret artist Carly Ozard presents a return engagement of her acclaimed cabaret show Somebody to Love: My Musical Tribute To Freddie  Mercury. Carly Ozard will be "Queen For A Day", paying homage to her musical idol, and sharing historic and unknown facts about Mercury's public and personal lifestyle. Ms. Ozard's cabaret show will showcase popular songs from Queen's extensive repertoire, as well as perform solo work written by Freddie Mercury without Queen. Rare musical material and collaborations will be featured in this tribute to the rock tenor who flaunted his four-octave range, charmed his audiences, and lived his 45 years to the fullest. Ozard will be joined onstage by piano, bass, guitar and drums. She will be joined on stage by Michael Grossman on piano. Original musical direction by Joe Wicht. The show is directed by Mike Ward.

Carly relates to Mercury's flair for theatrical and dramatic performing, incorporating his work into
2 nights of inventive cabaret. Familiar Mercury selections include "I Want It All," "Don't Stop Me
Now" "Somebody To Love," "Fat Bottomed Girls" "Days of Our Lives," along with lesser-known
treasures as "Too Much Love Will Kill You," "Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow," and Brian
May's tender send-off for Freddie Mercury, entitled "No One But You." Carly Ozard's previous
Solo Cabaret shows BITTER AND BE GAY, and BEWITCHED, BOTHERED AND BIPOLAR! have
played to sold-out houses at Martuni's, and the Rrazz Room.
