Broadway Chorus Presents A CABARET GONE CHORAL II This Weekend

Broadway Chorus will reprise last August's successful opening engagement at the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton with "A Cabaret Gone Choral II", performing selections from popular Broadway shows such as "Company", "Bells are Ringing" and "The Fantastiks". The audience will enjoy memorable songs including "Hernando's Hideaway", "Show People", "You're Not Sick, You're Just in Love" and "Cabaret".

The show will feature local cabaret husband-and-wife artists, Jenny Matteucci and Daniel Lockert, otherwise known as the Mattlock Duo, and will be accompanied by selected members of the Broadway Chorus.

The three performances will be held on today, July 27 at 2 PM, tonight, July 27 at 8 PM and Sunday, July 28 at 2 PM at the Firehouse Arts Center, 4444 Railroad Avenue, Pleasanton.

Broadway Chorus is a community chorus located in the Tri-Valley area (Pleasanton - Dublin - Livermore, California). It is part of the Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre, formerly known as Pleasanton Playhouse. Tri-Valley Repertory provides regional Theatre productions for the San Francisco East Bay and the Tri-Valley area including Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, Sunol and San Ramon.

The adult Broadway Chorus is a mixed group of about 80 men and women non-auditioned performers directed by Jenny Matteucci and accompanied by Daniel Lockert. There is also a Broadway Kids Chorus for students in grades 1-8 directed by Jenny Matteucci and Glen Riggs This year, by popular demand, we have added another concert to the series giving you the opportunity to enjoy three concerts annually which usually include both the adult and youth groups. Broadway Chorus encourages the community to attend the performances listed on the website and welcomes members of the community to join and sing with the group.
