'Blues in the Night' Extends at Post Street thru 10/28

Blues in the Night, the jazz-painted, blues-drenched musical now playing at San Francisco's Post Street Theatre (450 Post Street), has been extended through Sunday, October 28 due to popular demand. Conceived & directed by Sheldon Epps, Blues in the Night, starring Maurice Hines, Freda Payne, Carol Woods and Paulette Ivory, focuses on the relationships between three delicious females and one lonely guy, their interweaving stories told through the music of Benny Goodman, Bessie Smith, Duke Ellington and other blues and jazz legends of the 1920s and 30s.

Tickets on sale through Sunday, October 28.  Performance schedule is Tuesday through Friday evenings at 8PM, Saturdays at 2PM and 8PM and Sundays at 2PM and 7PM.

The Post Street Theatre is located 450 Post Street, half-block off Union Square, San Francisco.  Tickets are on-sale now at the Post Street Theatre box office, by phone at 415-771-6900, and on the web at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets range in price from $40 - $75.

A limited number of $30 tickets are available at the Post Street Theatre box office two hours prior to every performance. Tickets are for same-day performance only and are in the first 3 rows of the orchestra and in the balcony.
