On Sunday, Oct. 25, the Apple Store Theater at One Stockton Street, located at the corner of Ellis & Stockton streets near Union Square, will host a unique event for all theater enthusiasts with an equal love of the iPhone.

According to Apple, the iPhone really can take you anywhere you want to go, including the Scottish moors. In this special event, participants can watch Shakespearean actors perform a dramatic reading of Shakespeare's "Macbeth" using the free iPhone app, Shakespeare, co-developed by PlayShakespeare.com and Readdle.com.

Audience members are encouraged to download the application (or the Shakespeare Pro application) and following along with this dramatic reading that is the first of its kind to bridge old world literature and new age technology.

It's free and seating is first come first serve. Those interested can call 415-392-0202 or visit website pages at http://www.apple.com/retail/sanfrancisco - OR - http://www.playshakespeare.com/mac to download the Shakespeare app from iPhone and to see the list of the actors performing at this event.
