Franc D'Ambrosio
THE PHANTOM UNMASKED - THE SONGS OF BROADWAY

Broadway veteran Frank D'Ambrosio returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko in a magical evening celebrating the finest songs of Broadway.

Franc D'Ambrosio is best known as the "Phantom" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award-winning musical,?The Phantom of the Opera. Affectionately known as "The Iron Man of The Mask," Franc was awarded the distinction as the "World's Longest Running Phantom," with over 2,300 performances of the lead role, a title he held for a decade. This accomplishment was immortalized in a cemented hand ceremony.

Mr. D'Ambrosio is a welcomed and frequent guest artist with many major symphonies in America and Europe (Pop Series).?With the success of D'Ambrosio's national and international tours, he has joined the ranks of the famed Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman as only a handful of Phantom alumni to successfully crossover to solo careers. He celebrates 10 years of continuous touring.

D'Ambrosio's resume also includes an Academy Award-nominated film, an Emmy Award-nominated television show, a four-time Tony-nominated Broadway show, two Grammy considerations, and a National Theatre Award nomination. JANUARY 12 - 13, 2018.

Broadway's hottest couple, Orfeh and Andy Karl, will make their Feinstein's at the Nikko debut with Legally Bound. Directed by Charles Randolph-Wright, with Musical Direction by Steven Jamail, Orfeh and Andy Karl present an unforgettable evening of chart-toppers and show-stoppers.

After love at first sight during the couple's time in Saturday Night Fever on Broadway, then getting married in 2001, this duo has established themselves as individuals and together as a theatre power couple. They famously appeared alongside one another in Legally Blonde, earning Orfeh a Tony nomination for her role as Paulette in 2007. Andy received back to back Tony nods himself, one for his star turn as the title character in Rocky in 2014, and another for his role as Bruce Granit in the Broadway revival of On the Twentieth Century in 2015. He most recently received the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical (West End) and his third Tony Award nomination for his critically-acclaimed role as Phil Connors in Groundhog Day The Musical. WELL-STRUNG: THE SINGING STRING QUARTET

Hailed as "the hottest thing with a bow since Jennifer Lawrence in 'The Hunger Games'" by the New York Daily News, the classically trained foursome will perform pop/classical mashups featuring hits by Stevie Nicks, Rihanna, The Outfield, Queen, The Beatles, Lady Gaga, Jules Massenet, Henry Mancini, and Pasek & Paul.

Well-Strung is composed of Edmund Bagnell (1st violin), Chris Marchant (2nd violin), Daniel Shevlin (cello) and Trevor Wadleigh (viola). Conceived by Mark Cortale and Christopher Marchant, the foursome formed in 2012 and has since gained international attention. The group plays universally recognized classical pieces while singing pop music hits from the likes of Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, and other pop stars for a uniquely engaging experience. The New York Times called Well-Strung "A talented quartet of men who sing and play instruments brilliantly fuses pop and classical music from Madonna to Beethoven."

With a powerful, passionate vocal style always finding new expression in the lush, sweeping Broadway melodies, inspirational ballads and pop torch songs, Eder is one of America's most beloved singers and dynamic "live" performers. Eder launched her recording career in 1991 with her self-titled debut album and soon established a vital niche as America's most popular and acclaimed new interpreter of pop standards and theatrical songs with such releases as "And So Much More," "It's No Secret Anymore" and "By Myself: The Songs of Judy Garland."

The concert stage remains the mainstay of Eder's career. She has performed for sold-out crowds in venues across the country and throughout Europe, including Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and Radio City Music Hall. Always touring in good company, Eder's collaborations include Oscar-winning composer pianist Marvin Hamlisch, Tony-winner Michael Feinstein and Keith Lockhart, conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra. Vonda Shepard will hit the Feinstein's at the Nikko stage with her stellar trio February 2 and 3, 2018 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the hit show, "Ally McBeal." Come watch one of the most dynamic shows you'll ever see, featuring favorites from "Ally McBeal," including "You Belong to Me," "Searchin' My Soul," and "Tell Him," as well as Vonda's original material from her 14 albums including "Maryland" and "Baby, Don't You Break My Heart Slow." Vonda recorded four albums for "Ally McBeal," has sold over twelve million albums, has won two Golden Globe awards, two Emmy Awards and two Screen Actors Guild awards. Come relax, laugh, sing along, yell out requests, reminisce in the intimate moments, with Vonda at her piano, and get up and dance while Vonda and her band whip the room into a frenzy by the show's end. In celebration of Mardi Gras, Feinstein's at the Nikko welcomes San Francisco's most raucous and highly sought-after New Orleans-inspired fusion band, Brass Mafia.

Featuring vocalist Yvette Pylant, the Brass Mafia features trombone, trumpet, saxes, drums and, most importantly, tuba! Based on the tried-and-true New Orleans 100-year-old brass band tradition, Brass Mafia's sound incorporates music from many different decades and continents, playing a wide variety of originals and unexpected mashups, with frequent rapper and vocalist guests.

The Brass Mafia puts a strong emphasis on heavy backbeats, creative improvisation and a unique mix of songs and arrangements. They have been featured at events for SFJAZZ, SF Annual Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday Parade (7 years) and have collaborated with Lyrics Born, Thomas Dolby, Peter Rowan, and Nicki Bluhm.

Feinstein's at the Nikko welcomes Mary Wilson, founding member of the legendary group, The Supremes. In this intimate evening, Ms. Wilson will perform a mix of classic Supremes hit and favorites from the Great American Songbook, as well as share stories from her legendary career.

It was a vision of musical stardom as a Detroit teen that inspired Mary Wilson, along with Diana Ross and Florence Ballard, to found one of the most successful female singing groups in recording history - The Supremes. Since then, Wilson has written a best-selling autobiography, performed on stage and screen, lectured and toured the world, and continues to be looked up to as a singer who set the standard for females in the recording industry.

Latin Roots is Lucie's heartfelt musical tribute to the rhythm of her roots and features many of the original Desi Arnaz Orchestra arrangements with songs by Irving Berlin, The Gershwins, Agustín Lara, Rafael Hernandez, Margarita Lecuona, Desi Arnaz and Lucie herself.

Paulo Szot

Join Tony Award winner Paulo Szot for an evening of songs from the Great American Songbook, the worlds of Broadway and jazz, as well as tunes from his native Brazil.

Paulo Szot is one of the most acclaimed and versatile baritones in the world, having garnered international acclaim as both an opera singer and an actor. Born in São Paulo to Polish immigrants, Mr. Szot has appeared with most major opera companies throughout the world in Europe, the United States, and his native Brazil. In 2008, he won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Emile De Beque in the Broadway revival of South Pacific at Lincoln Center Theatre.

Mandy Gonzalez
FEARLESS

Broadway star Mandy Gonzalez (Hamilton, Wicked, In the Heights) makes her Feinstein's at the Nikko debut with Fearless, featuring songs from Mandy's first solo album of the same name, along with old favorites and songs that have inspired and influenced who Mandy is as an artist.

Mandy Gonzalez possesses one of the most powerful and versatile contemporary voices of our time. She is currently starring in the hit Broadway musical Hamilton. She is best known for her emotional portrayal of Nina Rosario in the Tony Award-winning, Lin-Manuel Miranda Broadway musical In the Heights, a role she originally created Off Broadway at 37 Arts and which received a Drama Desk Award for Best Ensemble. She starred as Elphaba in the Broadway production of Wicked, blowing the roof off of New York's Gershwin Theatre each night as she belted out signature song "Defying Gravity" and for which she was rewarded with a Broadway.com Award for Best Replacement. Other Broadway roles include Princess Amneris in the Elton John and Tim Rice musical Aida and the Broadway show Lennon where she portrayed multiple roles including that of Beatles' icon John Lennon. Mandy made her Broadway debut in Jim Steinman's Dance of the Vampires starring opposite Michael Crawford.

Last year, Mandy debuted her solo concert, Love, All Ways, and continues to perform concerts in prestigious venues across the U.S. She recently performed her solo concert, Raise the Roof, to sold-out audiences at Feinstein's/54 Below and Joe's Pub.
Mandy recently released her debut EP, "Fearless," which features a title track written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and additional songs by Jennifer Nettles, Bill Sherman, and Tom Kitt. The album includes an acoustic arrangement of "Breathe," Mandy's stand-out number from Miranda's In the Heights, as well as a duet of "Life is Sweet" with Hamilton's Christopher Jackson.

When not on stage, television viewers can find her working at The White House on the CBS breakout hit "Madam Secretary."

Tommy Tune

Tommy Tune, Broadway's tallest tapper, returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances only! Hailed as one of Broadway's most prolific performers, Tune is a ten-time Tony Award winner for his work on such shows as Seesaw, A Day in Hollywood / A Night in the Ukraine, Nine, My One and Only, Grand Hotel, and The Will Rogers Follies. In addition, he has been awarded eight Drama Desk Awards, three Astaire Awards and the Society of Directors and Choreographers' George Abbott Award for Lifetime Achievement. He was honored with The Helen Hayes Tribute in 2011.

Marilyn Maye
