Altar Boyz to Open in SF Tonight, $25 Rush Tix

A limited number of $25 orchestra pit seats will be available  for every performance of Altar Boyz, the award-winning musical comedy playing March 13 through April 8 at San Francisco's Orpheum Theatre (1192 Market Street at 8th). Altar Boyz is presented as part of the 2006-2007 Best of Broadway season, brought to you by Citibank, under the direction of Carole Shorenstein Hays. 

Tickets go on sale 2 hours prior to performance at the Orpheum Theatre box office ONLY, cash only, with a limit of two tickets per person. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis and a valid photo ID must be presented at time of purchase. Tickets are VOID if resold. Resold   tickets will not be honored.
 
Now in its third year Off-Broadway at New World Stages, Altar Boyz -the acclaimed satirical musical about a Catholic boy band - will soon make the rounds to Brazil, Sweden, Finland, Australia, Japan, and Korea.

Based on a concept by Marc Kessler and Ken Davenport, Altar Boyzwas written by Kevin Del Aguila, with music and lyrics by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker. The show is directed by Stafford Arima, and choreographed by Christopher Gatelli.
