The New Conservatory Theatre Center presents A Conversation with Bill Irwin, a discussion with the Tony-Award winning actor moderated by SF Chronicle theatre critic Robert Hurwitt at NCTC Monday, April 23 at 7PM.
The audience will discover how the star got his start, and all the twists and turns his career has taken. Proceeds will benefit youth programming at the NCTC.

Bill Irwin won the 2005 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his performance as George in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, playing at San Francisco's Golden Gate Theatre through May 12, 2007. In 1989, Irwin was nominated for four Tony Awards as an author, actor, director, and choreographer for Best Play nominee, Largely New York. In 1999, his show Fool Moon won a special Tony Award for Live Theatrical Presentation. On August 7, 1999 Irwin was inducted into the International Clown Hall of Fame. In addition to his work on stage, Irwin has performed in many film and television roles, including "Mr. Noodle" on Sesame Street, "The Flying Man" on Northern Exposure, and most recently in M. Night Shyamalan's Lady in the Water.
