6th Street Improv to Produce Theatresports Improve Competitions

6th Street Improv has been granted the exclusive right to produce and present internationally licensed TheatresportsTM improv competitions in Santa Rosa, where two improvisation teams compete in friendly rivalry to win the hearts of the audience and points from local celebrity judges to determine the winning team.

The first 6th Street Improv Theatresports event will be 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the 6th Street Playhouse Studio Theatre in Santa Rosa, with the judging panel featuring KRCB radio broadcaster Roland Jacopetti; Santa Rosa City Councilman Gary Wysocky; and journalist, author and public radio commentator Susan Swartz.

Future 6th Street Improv Theatresports events will be 8 p.m. Sunday, April 5 and 8 p.m. Saturday, June 6.
