Forty seven years ago, The Beatles kicked-off their first ever U.S. tour at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. John, George, Paul and Ringo return to the City by the Bay for five performances only - October 28 - 31 - in 4 Lads from Liverpool - A Tribute to The Beatles at San Francisco's Marines' Memorial Theatre (609 Sutter St., 2nd floor). Tickets range in price from $35 to $75 and go on-sale tomorrow, Friday, August 26, at noon at the Marines' Memorial Theatre box office, by phone at 415-771-6900 and online at marinesmemorialtheatre.com.

4 Lads from Liverpool journeys back to the turbulent and hope-filled decade of the 1960s. Beginning in the early days in Hamburg, Germany and the Cavern Club in Liverpool, the show takes audiences on a magical mystery tour through the "Sgt. Pepper" era and beyond. Paired with multimedia footage, the show gives audiences a rare chance to see, hear and feel how The Beatles changed the world with their music.

"A great deal of time was spent researching the rich history of The Beatles, resulting in an authentic show that pays homage to their craft and the era they helped define," said producer Scott Stander. "The cast of 4 Lads from Liverpool have the right mix of intangible qualities and chemistry that sets them apart from other Beatle tribute bands."

Starring Peter George as John Lennon, Jimmy Pou as George Harrison, Jon Perry as Paul McCartney and Rolo Sandoval as Ringo Starr, the show features some of The Beatles' most famous and loved songs, including "I Want to Hold Your Hand," "Come Together," "Here Comes the Sun" and "Yesterday."

4 Lads from Liverpool will play October 28 - 31 for five performances only at San Francisco's Marines' Memorial Theatre. The performance schedule is as follows: Friday, October 28, Saturday, October 29 and Monday, October 31 at 8 p.m.; Saturday October 29 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, October 30 at 7 p.m. On Monday, October 31 (Halloween), come dressed as your favorite Beatle or other 60s icon. Overall female and male winner will each win a one-night stay at the Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel plus dinner for two at Leatherneck Steakhouse. Winners chosen by audience applause.

Tickets range in price from $35 to $75 and go on-sale tomorrow, Friday, August 26, at noon at the Marines' Memorial Theatre box office, by phone at 415-771-6900 and online at marinesmemorialtheatre.com.
