Haste, an all female international physical theatre company based in the UK, return to San Diego after their award winning* 'Oyster Boy' at last year's inaugural Fringe Festival!
The 1920s. Bored, the gods of ancient Greece find entertainment playing with the lives of the people below. But have they bitten off more than they can chew as they attempt to meddle with the headstrong Ariadne, the courageous Theseus and the small matter of a Minotaur that needs defeating?
Through a heady mixture of clowning, gypsy jazz, dance and kazoos 'The Hideout' is a riotous collision of Greek mythology and the Kit Kat Club.
“Can the story of Theseus and the Minotaur be presented as a raunchy, fast-moving cabaret? Haste Theatre has done just that. Unmissable.”
- Michael Glover, Arts Critic for The Independent (UK)
