International touring magician and comedian The Great & Powerful Tim is roped into a holiday adventure after a magic trick goes awry, killing Santa Claus. It’s up to Tim to save Christmas with his hilarious mind-bending illusions, with lots of fun audience participation. Featuring cards that appear inside sealed cans of spam, magical lie-detecting cargo shorts, a Nintendo Powerglove that reads minds, and a bullet catch routine using laser tag guns.
Tim’s shows blend hilarious improv comedy, mind-blowing original magic with fun props, and a scripted story and special effects, for a theater experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen. After getting his start in professional magic on the stage at Orlando Fringe five years ago, Tim has been developing and performing new original shows every year at fringe festivals, conventions, and comedy clubs all over North America. He wrapped up a 7 city 34 show international 2017 tour with sold out performances at Edmonton Fringe.
Tim Hoffman(The Great & Powerful Tim) is a former performer at Orlando’s SAK Comedy Lab and has trained and performed improv comedy at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles. He is a member of the Academy Of Magical Arts and Magic Castle and currently lives in Hollywood.
