The Brunch Crowd follows the lives of four queer trans friends in their 20s as they regularly gather at a beloved Mexican brunch spot in Austin, Texas. The backdrop of a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood adds complexity to their relationships and personal journeys. This staged reading, part of the Black and Latino Playwrights Celebration, showcases the work of playwright Dillon Yruegas and offers a platform for exploring themes of identity and community.
