Wildsong Productions presents Newsies at the Wildsong Theatre from August 16 to September 8. This Disney musical, inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899, follows Jack Kelly, a newsboy who rallies his peers against rising newspaper prices imposed by publisher Joseph Pulitzer. Directed by Brooke Aliceon, the production features a talented local cast and an immersive experience that invites audience participation. With recent stage renovations to enhance accessibility and choreography, this production aims to celebrate community art while bringing a beloved story to life.
