Sitting at the intersections of bluegrass, folk, jazz, Celtic, and classical music, Kittel & Co. inhabits a soundscape unlike any of their peers. You can experience their eclectic sound for yourself when they take the stage at UC San Diego’s Park & Market on Friday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. Led by Grammy-winning violinist Jeremy Kittel, Kittel & Co.’s unique approach to string music has garnered high praise from music critics worldwide, with the Times UK describing them as “thrillingly spontaneous.” Joining Jeremey Kittel is mandolin phenom Josh Pinkham, who Mandolin Magazine named “the future of the mandolin” and guitarist Quinn Bachand, a presidential scholar at the Berklee College of Music. Tickets for Kittel & Co.’s performance start at $25 and can be purchased at parkandmarket.ucsd.edu.
