When Mexican-born Lucia lands her first TV writing job, she feels out of place on the White, male-dominated set. She becomes friends with the only other Latino around, the janitor Abel. As they share their stories, they are forced to reconcile fact with fiction. Fade explores class and race within the Latinx community, as well as at large, investigation how status can change who you are at your core.
