11-14 year olds
Fee: $125

Do you enjoy finding the humor in life? Do you find talking in a cockney accent hilarious? Do you ever glance down at a banana and wonder what people would think of you in a coffee shop if you starting using it as a cellular device? Well if you do...then this is the class for you!

This 5 day improvisational camp will give you the opportunity to explore and perform scenarios that are spontaneous, creative, and on-the-spot-silly. We will discover what it takes to create solid scenes, learn the do's and don'ts of improv, and produce quality work that will make our brains think fast and our sides hurt from laughter.

This Improv Camp, taught by Samantha Ginn, will leave you feeling more confident in improvisation, performance, and speaking in pig latin.

ABOUT SAMANTHA GINN:

Sam is considered one of the finest comedic actors in San Diego. A graduate of La Costa Canyon High School and UCSD, Sam has been teaching and acting in San Diego for the past six years. She last appeared on the NVA stage in last summer's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, and is currently appearing in HICKORY-DICKORY at Moxie Theatre.

"Samantha Ginn is giving one of the comic performances of the year...Ginn, has been a rising talent with Moxie, Playwrights Project and Scripps Ranch Theatre (as well as a company member of Circle Circle Dot Dot)."- San Diego Union-Tribune.
