WICKED, the show that broke box office records when it was last in San Diego, is back. Each show presents on opportunity to win some tickets at an amazing price. Running from June 20- July 15 every show offers the opportunity to win $25 orchestra seats in an audience lottery.
This show is offering a limited number of orchestra tickets for each day- of- performance lottery. People need to present themselves two and a half hours prior to the performance and place their names in a lottery drum. Thirty minutes later the names will be drawn for the limited number of $25 seats. These seats are available for purchase with cash only. There is a limit of two tickets per person and is available in person at the box office only. You must have a valid picture ID when submitting your entry form and when purchasing tickets.
Telling the untold story about those two famous witches from the land of OZ, this show paints a vivid picture of friendship, ambition, love and popularity. As two girls meet at school, one beautiful and ambitious and the other green skinned and talented, their relationship becomes a powerful force in the land of OZ. WICKED has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (GODSPELL, PIPPIN, Disney’s “Enchanted”, and Academy Award® winner for” Pocahontas” )and book by Winnie Holzman (“My So Called Life,” “Once And Again” and “thirtysomething”), is based on the 1995 best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire of the same name.
