USO 22ndAnnual USO San Diego Holiday Concert - November 23rd

Balboa Theatre

Come to the 22nd annual USO Holiday Concert this Saturday! This free concert features guest emcee Bill Griffith of 10News, Marine Band San Diego and a special rendition of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. This is a free concert but guests are invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy for children up to age 18. Toys will be distributed in the USO San Diego Giving Tree program, which supports military families who may not have the financial resources to provide a Christmas for their children. This Broadway smash and Tony Award Best Play nominee asks you to take a hard look at the idea of love, power, sex, and gender roles in this show that follows the audition of an actress for the demanding playwright/director. La Jolla Playhouse - Through December 15th

This is a reimagined version of the musical based on the true story of conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton. Presented as in association with the La Jolla Playhouse and the Kennedy Center, this shows focuses on these beautiful, talented, and different sisters who are on their path to stardom. Yet they find that the journey from circus novelties to famed stage stars, tests their relationships as sisters as the spotlight is not everything that they had hoped for it to be. Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas - Through Dec 28

He may be a 'mean one' but the audience loves him anyways! Kick of the holiday season with this famous Dr. Seuss charcter as he tries to ruing the Who's Christmas celebration.
