San Diego Musical Theatre presents Irving Berlin's ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, which opened Saturday, May 10, at the North Park Theatre. Performances continue weekends through May 25. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek below!

ANNIE GET YOUR GUN scored a bull's eye when it returned to Broadway in 1999, starring Berna- dette Peters and sporting a revised libretto by Tony, Oscar and Emmy winner Peter Stone. As News- day reported, Stone's revisions 'are sweetly ingenious, and the show is a dream.' Stone reshaped the 1946 book to create a Wild West show-within-a-show that frames the ageless 'Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better' love story of sharpshooters Annie Oakley andFrank Butler. Stone has added a secondary romance between the younger sister of Frank's bothersome assistant Dolly, and a boy who is (to Dolly's horror) part Native American'. Joined to the new book, of course, is that amazingIrving Berlin score, featuring hit after hit after hit.

The creative team features: John Todd (Director/Choreographer), Don Le Master (Music Director), Matthew Novotny (Lighting Designer), Janet Pitcher (Costume Co-Ordinator), and Megan Sprowls* (Stage Manager).

Starring are Beth Malone* (Annie Oakley) and Steve Blanchard* (Frank Butler). Also in the cast are John Polhamus*,Paul Morgavo, Sean Tamburrino, Debbie David, Jeni Baker, Steven Rada, Jim Marshall, Conor Tibbs, Amy Beth Batchelor, Eric Betts, Liz Daniels, Hanz Enyeart, Carlos Ferrusca, Siri Hafso, Danny Hansen, Aurore Joly, Tellina Lee, Matthew Naegeli, Tamara Rodriguez, Justin Segura, Taylor Simmons, Noah Baird, Ava Bunn, Taylor Coleman, and Claire Scheper. *Member of Actors Equity
