Robyn Spangler Comes To Palm Desert in LET ME SING 12/4

Robyn Spangler brings her one woman cabaret show "Let Me Sing!," to The Arthur Newman Theatre at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert at 7 PM as part of Les Michaels' Life Is A Cabaret Concert Series. Robyn Has always been a singer but is probably best known for her "day job" of appearing in over 150 commercials including Hilton Hotels, Ford Cars and Trucks, Gatorade and Polygrip.

Robyn Has extensive regional theatre credits. Favorite roles include: Minnie Mae in "Annie Get Your Gun", Ruby Rae in "Best Little Whorehouse In Texas", Sally Bowles in "Cabaret", Anita in "West Side Story", Ernestina in "My Fair Lady", Miss Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls" and "Robyn" in "All I Really Need To Know I Learned in Kindergarten" at LA's Whitefire Theatre.

"On A Liquid Afternoon" is Spangler's debut CD, which has gotten rave reviews. Terry Martinez of MuzikReviews says, "It's just a great listen...." The CD can be found on CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon Music.

Robyn Has had the privilege of performing her one-woman show all over the country including Davenports in Chicago, Below Zero in Cincinnati, Blame It on Midnight in Palm Springs, Summer Cabaret Nights at Yale and The Duplex in New York. Robyn is a regular on Jim Caruso's Cast Party Cabaret at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Her current show features great arrangements of familiar tunes by Irving Berlin and Cy Coleman along with some new songs written by Ray Jessel, Todd Schroeder and Wendy Tuttle. Schroeder also serves as Musical Director for the show. Tickets for the show are $10 cash only at the door if available, reservations may be made at 760-325-2731.
