More than just a standard musical revue, THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND has a witty libretto filled with humor, romance and drama that binds Kander and Ebb's songs together. The show is a celebration of life and the fighting spirit that keeps the world going. Five individuals find themselves careening through the world of love, babies, and coffee. The vast range of human experience is explored in song after impeccable song by one of Broadway's most daring and successful teams and masters of the heart-grabbing Broadway showstopper. The show features unforgettable gems from throughout their career in theatre, film and television, spotlighting songs from Cabaret, Chicago, New York, New York, Funny Lady, Kiss Of The Spiderwoman, and more.
Featured in the cast are Chelsea Franko, Casey Garritano, Kristen Lamoureux, Ben Lopez and Marlene Montes. Helming the production as Director and Choreographer is David Engel. Elan McMahan is Musical Director. Rounding out the creative team is N. Dixon Fish (Scenic Designer), Paul Canaletti, Jr. (Lighting Designer), Jim Zadai (Sound Designer), Carlotta Malone (Costume Designer), Bonnie Durben (Properties Designer) and Sharon Strich (Stage Manager).

Beginning 30-minutes prior to each performance, students with a valid student ID may purchase a $15 student rush ticket, subject to availability.
The AVO Playhouse is located in the heart of the Vista Village and is located downtown at 303 Main Street. Parking is free. The Vista Village offers numerous dining options, all within walking distance of the AVO Playhouse. "Talk-Back Forums" are offered after each Friday evening performance. These are informal discussions with the cast, enabling the audience to engage in a dialogue with and ask questions of the company.
