"Turbulance," by Katie Brady, is a heart-warming comedy about a teenager flying to his first year of college on an athletic scholarship. Chaos arises when the son reveals that he didn't actually get the scholarship and, in fact, was not accepted to the college. A sweet exploration authenticity and acceptance.
"Kidnapping Lola," by Michael Vegas Mussman, is a dark comedy about two criminals driving cross-country with a woman hidden in the trunk of their car. And she's about to make some noise.
In "Quarantine," by Wesley Mullins, things go from bad to worse for an Ebola doctor. After she's ordered to spend time in quarantine, she discovers that the room where she'll spend the next two weeks is haunted by two ghosts.
Director Patricia Moran Collins is a recent transplant to the San Diego area. Local work: The Swan Plays (Moxie Theatre & SDSU). Her other directing credits include professional, civic and academic theatre in Chicago and Southern Wisconsin. Recent credits include: Chicago premiere of A Loss of Roses (Fourth Wall Productions), Jeff nominated Wrong Turn at Lungfish (Fourth Wall Productions), Greetings! (Beloit Civic Theatre), The Stanway Case (Stoughton), American premiere The Tomorrow Box (Lakeland Players).

Three New Plays Debut at Fringe Festival
"I am so excited that my play is happening at the Fringe this year," said Vegas Mussman. "There is so much talent in this city, and these actors have done an amazing job bringing our words to life."
There will be five performances beginning on July 24, 2015.
