InnerMission to Present VAGINA MONOLOGUES and MENDING MONOLOGUES for V-Day 2017

InnerMission will present two productions for V-Day, 2017, a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. The Vagina Monologues, written by Eve Ensler, and The MENding Monologues, Conceived by Derek Dujardin, will be performed in repertory at Finest City Improv (4250 Louisiana Street San Diego) February 24th and 25th, 2017.

Proceeds from this production will be donated to Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence (www.breakthesilencedv.org/) and Think Dignity (www.thinkdignity.org), a social service organization whose mission is: to inspire, empower, and organize our community to advance basic dignity for those living on the streets.

About The Vagina Monologues
Written by Eve Ensler, this Obie Award-winning collection of monologues introduces a divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have found a man who "liked to look at it."

About The MENding Monologues
Conceived by Derek Dujardin and Inspired by The Vagina Monologues, this 90-minute show explores gender violence issues from a male perspective using true, first-person monologues, sketch comedy and slam poetry.
