Multiple GRAMMY winner, Platinum-certified R&B recording artist Aaron Neville comes to Poway OnStage for a one-night-only holiday performance December 2, 2017 at 8:00pm.
He started his career as leader of the Neville Brothers that played New Orleans soul. He performed "That's What My Love is For" and GRAMMY winning duets with Linda Ronstadt ("Don't Know Much," "All My Life") and Trisha Yearwood ("I Fall to Pieces").
"I pray to St. Jude every day, not just around Christmas. When I was down and depressed, down and out, he helped me out of this hole" says Mr. Neville. "These classic songs, have been pumping blood to my heart .... They've been a part of my life. Singing them, especially in the aftermath of Katrina, was a deeply spiritual experience. They helped me get through. They gave me hope. And for me, music has always been about hope."
His holiday repertoire includes standards such as "Silent Night," "The Christmas Song," "Let It Snow" as well as "Louisiana Christmas Day" from his Soulful Christmas album.
