FIDDLER, WIGGLES, & WICKED Come To San Diego Theaters In July And August

Broadway San Diego and San Diego County Credit Union present Topol starring in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at the Civic Theatre (1100 Third Ave @ B St).

Based on the stories of Sholom Aleichem and featuring TOPOL, star of the original 1971 Oscar-winning film. Never has any other musical so magically woven music, dance, poignancy and laughter into such an electrifying and unforgettable experience. Approx. Run Time is 3 hours. This show is appropriate for all ages. All ages must have their own ticket in same section as parent / adult.

All patrons are requested to be in their seats 5 minutes BEFORE curtain for this show. Theatre doors will close prior to curtain, then there is a 8-minute late seating hold for Act 1.

THE WIGGLES are at Civic Theatre (1100 Third Ave @ B St.) Thursday, July 23rd at 3:00pm & 7:00pm. The most beloved family entertainment band in the world is setting out on their wildest adventure to date! The fab four from Down Under are back with a brand new line-up of songs from their latest album The Wiggles Go Bananas! including the smash hit Monkey Man. The Wiggles, Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog and all the Wiggly Dancers invite you to join them as they Go Bananas Live!

Children 1 year & older must have their own ticket in the same section as parent / adult. Children under 12 months of age will be admitted free to this event but must sit on parents lap.

Parking will be at a premium for the 3:00pm show, due to downtown week-day business parking. Please allow yourself plenty of time to secure parking and remember that full daytime rates will be in effect!

Live Nation presents Doug Benson and Brian Posehn at the Balboa Theatre (868 Fourth Ave @ E St) Fri., July 24th at 8:00pm.

Doug Benson has appeared on Comedy Central Presents, Best Week Ever, and most recently as a contestant on Last Comic Standing. Benson was part of a writing team that created (and performed) in The Marijuana-Louges.

Brian Posehn known for his roles as mail clerk Kevin Liotta on NBC's Just Shoot Me!, as a cast member of HBO's Mr. Show, and Brian Spukowski on Comedy Central's The Sarah Silverman Program. Live Comedy performances may contain mature subject matter & profanity...recommended for mature audiences.

Broadway San Diego and San Diego County Credit Union present WICKED at the Civic Theatre (1100 Third Ave @ B St) July 29 through August 30. Long before that girl from Kansas arrives in Munchkinland, two girls meet in the land of Oz. One - born with emerald green skin - is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. How these two grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch makes for "the most complete and completely satisfying new musical in a long time" - USA Today. Approx. Run Time is 2 hours, 45 minutes.

Children under the age of 4 years will not be admitted to the Theatre. Show is recommended for Children ages 8 years & older. Note: All persons entering the theatre must have their own ticket.
