Cygnet Theatre Company has extended the run of Noises Off through September 6th. The Tony-nominated comedy written by Michael Frayn and directed by Sean Murray follows the on- and off-stage antics of a motley and disorganized theatre company from dress rehearsal through closing night.
The cast features Sandy Campbell (Mauritius) as Belinda, Jason Connors (The Matchmaker) as Tim Allgood, Albert Dayan as Lloyd Dallas, Jason Heil as Garry Lejeune, Craig Huisenga (A Christmas Carol) as Frederick Fellowes, Cygnet Resident Artist Jessica John (Mauritius, Love Song) as Brooke Ashton, Jonathan McMurtry as Selsdon Mowbray, Resident Artist Rosina Reynolds (Arcadia, Copenhagen) as Dotty Otley, and Kim Strassburger (A Little Night Music) as Poppy.
The production team includes director Sean Murray, properties designer Bonnie L. Durben, set designer Sean Fanning, wig & makeup designer Peter Herman, costume designer Corey Johnston, sound designer Matt Lescault-Wood, lighting designer Eric Lotze, dialect coach Emmelyn Thayer, stunt choreographer George Ye, and stage manager Rosalee Barrientos.
Performances of Noises Off are Wednesdays and Thursday at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm and 7pm. Cygnet's Old Town Theatre is located at 4040 Twiggs St., San Diego, CA 92110. Tickets are $17 - $46. Discounts are available for seniors, students, military and groups.
