Cygnet Theatre Company is excited to extend its fourth annual production of Joe Landry's It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play for four additional performances. This holiday tradition, performing on the Old Town Stage, will now run through December 31st! Two special performances will be offered on New Year's Eve at 2pm and 7pm!

It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, which made its move from Cygnet's former location in Rolando to its Old Town Stage for the first time this year, has continued to garner critical raves. Audiences have been showing up in large numbers - many of whom have made Cygnet's production an annual event - to relive childhood memories of the heartwarming film with Landry's unique theatrical twist.

This year's cast - performing the roles of 1940's WCYG radio actors presenting the classic tale - is directed by Artistic Director Sean Murray and includes Tom Andrew as George Bailey, Scott Paulson with his live, old-fashioned Foley sound effects 'orchestra', Jonathan Dunn-Rankin as Mr. Potter, Veronica Murphy as Ma Bailey, David McBean as Harry Bailey, Tim West as Clarence the Angel, Melissa Fernandes as Violet Bick and Amanda Sitton as Mary Hatch. Piano accompaniment and musical direction is provided by Amy Dalton.

Performances of It's A Wonderful Life are Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm and Sundays at 2pm and 7pm. The performance dates of December 29th through December 31st have just been added. Tuesday, Dec. 29th and Wednesday, Dec. 30th performances both begin at 7:30pm. Additionally, TWO special New Year's Eve performances are offered on December 31st at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are $28 - $46. Discounts are available for seniors, students and military.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting Cygnet's website at www.cygnettheatre.com or calling the box office at 619-337-1525. Tickets can also be purchased in person by visiting the box office at 4040 Twiggs St. in the Old Town Historic Park.
