Imagine holding the key to a child's Christmas joy in the palm of your hand and you might begin to understand the incredible task of playing the role of Santa Claus! Circle Circle dot dot's first-ever Holiday production Bearded will share with audiences the incredible true-life tales from real San Diego Mall Santas, and shed light on what it's like to be the man behind the beard. "As a huge lover of the Holiday season, I was thrilled to take the opportunity to get into the spirit of Christmas with this latest endeavor. While the world of a Mall Santa proved to be a bizarre one, it also revealed quite a lot of beauty in the humanity involved in successfully filling the shoes of the daunting, and magnanimous character of Santa." - Katherine Harroff, Playwright of "Bearded" and Artistic Director of Circle Circle dot dot.Production Bios:

CIRCLE CIRCLE DOT DOT MISSION STATEMENT: Circle Circle dot dot engages audiences by creating original Theatre devised from the stories of our community. We do this to bring Theatre back to the root of what has always made it important: the ability to allow the world to see and understand itself through stimulating, informative, and highly entertaining art.
ABOUT CIRCLE CIRCLE DOT DOT: We are a group of performance-artists, writers, directors, puppeteers, designers, and musicians who have come together to function as a Collaborative Community-Based Theatre. We are both collaborative within our company and with outside artists who are willing to give additional perspective to a theatrical experience. We create each performance completely from scratch by collecting stories and interviews with members of our community, and creating a script that is flushed out in workshop rehearsals before ever hitting a stage. We take stories that are informative and insane, as well as thought-provoking and delusional in order to bridge gaps in communication and understanding of our fellow man.
