This girl-loves-ghoul rock and roll Off Broadway musical is set in the atomic 1950s at Enrico Fermi High, where the law is laid down by a zany, tyrannical principal. Pretty senior Toffee has fallen for the class bad boy. Family pressure forces her to end the romance, and he charges off on his motorcycle to the nuclear waste dump. He returns glowing and determined to reclaim Toffee's heart. He still wants to graduate, but most of all he wants to take Toffee to the prom. The principal orders him to drop dead while a scandal-seeking reporter seizes on him as the freak du jour. History comes to his rescue while a tuneful selection of original songs in the style of 50s hits keeps the action rocking across the stage.

Ms. Jeannine Marquie is thrilled to return to Canyon Crest Academy after her recent awarding winning stint at San Clemente High School. A native to San Diego she has been active in the theatre scene performing at with Diversionary Theatre, Starlight Music Theatre, The San Diego Repertory Theatre, The La Jolla Playhouse, Cygnet Theatre, the former 6th at Penn and Sledgehammer Theatres, and North Coast Repertory Theatre.

Ms. Marquie brings seventeen years of experience teaching Theatre Arts to students in Southern California from Kindergarten through Twelfth grade. As a teaching artist, Ms. Marquie has taught with Playwright's Project, Young Audiences of San Diego, and La Jolla Playhouse's YPW. She integrates Educational standards while developing innovative theatre exercises, identifying best practices for engaging youth, and enriching their educational experiences.

Ms. Marquie holds a Masters in Education with an emphasis on integrating the Arts into education from Lesley University. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts from Loyola Marymount University, and is a credentialed teacher. Ms. Marquie has trained in International Baccalaureate Theatre Arts and has been involved in writing Arts curriculum. She is excited to bring CCA Theatre students to new heights of excellence as they learn the Art of Theatre.

Miss Leigh Scarritt holds a degree in Voice Performance from Arizona State University, and has performed all over North America for over 30 years. A veteran of TV, film, and the stage, Miss Leigh brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Of the hundreds of students she has taught, many have gone on to perform on television, movies, theater, and commercials. Seventy-eight of her students have appeared in The Old Globes' production of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. College Preparation should be an integral part of any young actors' career and Miss Leigh has had students successful at acceptance into such prestigious universities as NYU, Yale, Boston Conservatory, UCLA, Syracuse, Berkeley and Emerson. Leigh Scarritt is San Diego's Premier Voice and Acting Coach.

Max Cadillac is a dance instructor and choreographer at San Diego Junior Theatre, an actor at San Diego Musical Theatre and at Cygnet Theatre Company. He received a BFA in musical theatre from American Musical & Dramatics Academy and graduated from Coronado School of the Arts.
