Darin Adams, Menlo-Atherton High School alumnus, has written and directed, Lost and Found, a new hope-filled musical making its way to Broadway. Produced by Bridgelight Productions, Adams is bringing this new musical from New York to the Bay area October 9-11 and 15-18 along with a full professional cast from New York as a benefit for local schools in Redwood City and East Palo Alto and for the Women's Recovery Association. The performances will be held at the recently renovated Carrington Hall Theater in Redwood City.

Inspired by his experience at Menlo-Atherton High School during the 80's, Adams is excited to take the show back to the place it was born in order to benefit those who inspired it on both sides of Highway 101.

"We are thrilled a professional New York cast is coming to Carrington Hall to perform a new Broadway bound musical to benefit our community and help our schools. Go see it!" (Steve Penna, Owner and Publisher of Spectrum Magazine and Chairman of Carrington Hall Restoration)

There have been many inspiring stories that focus on a teacher or a passionate visionary who reaches across cultural boundaries to effect great change for a struggling individual or group of people. Lost and Found, however, is not about change in one direction. Its focus is on the unexpected power of community, working equally in both directions, as a diverse group of people, all uniquely equipped to help one another in some way, risk their inherent fear and pain of trust, forgiveness, and love in order to forge relationships that will transform their lives for good.

Lost and Found is a compelling tale of broken lives transformed by hope and love ... people from radically different backgrounds discovering their profound need for one another. Gospel, R&B, HipHop, opera and contemporary musical theater numbers converge in a musical tapestry as diverse as the characters and community portrayed in this gripping new show.
