The award-winning Bodhi Tree Concerts, the San Diego troupe that presents eclectic musical concerts that raise funds for local nonprofits, announces an exciting season in 2019 that showcases exclusively local musical artists and brings back popular events like a free multicultural street festival.
As always according to their mission, directors Walter and Diana DuMelle have partnered with local charities that will receive all profits from Bodhi Tree Concerts' ticket sales. The 2019 season will feature beloved local artists like Ira Liss and his Big Band, guitarists Fred Benedetti and George Svoboda, and opera and Broadway singer Enrique Toral, among others.
"We have an exciting 2019 season planned with something for everyone and featuring world class talent residing right here in San Diego," said co-director Diana DuMelle. "Bodhi Tree Concerts is proud to support its local artists while collaborating with and donating to inspiring charitable organizations serving San Diego and beyond- grassroots philanthropy through local music."
