San Diego Theatres continues to offer a wide range of the best entertainment for their audiences with the announcement of the first presentations of an evolving 2011-2012 BALBOA THEATRE SEASON! The previously announced FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE! 35TH Anniversary World Tour stop on August 2 will be joined by two other great events, k.d. lang and the SISS BOOM BANG on October 24 and An Evening With Howie Mandel on October 23.
Following his critically acclaimed new album Thank You Mr Churchill, Grammy®-winning guitarist and songwriter Peter Frampton will embark on a world tour this June celebrating his multi-platinum-selling live album Frampton Comes Alive!, performing the legendary album in its entirety across the U.S., Canada, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. San Diego Theatres presents this landmark event at the historic BALBOA THEATRE on TUESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2011 at 8PM!Sing it Loud is lang's first studio album since 2008's Watershed, her first made entirely with a band of her own since the initial pair of albums with the Reclines that launched her groundbreaking career. From his work on Emmy-Award winning "St. Elsewhere" (6 seasons as Dr. Wayne Fiscus), to the international children's series "Bobby's World," Howie has become a mainstay of the American comedy scene. Currently host of the new hidden camera show "Mobbed," he also serves as a judge on "America's Got Talent" & won an Emmy for his "Deal or No Deal" game show, but still finds time to perform his stand-up concert across the U.S. & Canada.
