San Diego's Balboa Park Puppet Theater has recently announced performances for the upcoming month including THE BOY WHO CRIED WOLF and MAXFIELD'S TIMETRAVELING CIRCUS.
THE BOY WHO CRIED WOLF will run from June 9-June 13 and June 16-June 20. The little boy who watches over the sheep just cannot stay out of trouble. When his wild stories get out of hand will he be able to save his sheep? The production is a collaboration between Zacker's Puppets and Big Joe Productions and features Zak Crook, the Balboa Park Puppet Theater's newest puppeteer. Zak is 12 1/2 years old and a truly gifted talent in the art of puppetry. Zach has been performing at the theater for 4 years with Big Joe and Max Daily and starring in our December Nights productions.
MAXFIELD'S TIMETRAVELING CIRCUS will run from June 2 through June 6. Not your typical puppet show, this is a must see production. Travel back in time with Maxfield, an inventor and time traveler. Max will enter a wacky world where he winds up with a flea circus. A variety of puppets, live acting, toy theater, plus a real live flea circus!Videos
