Part dude.  Part lady.  Full-time lesbian. The insanely adorable (or is that adorably insane?) Beth Malone will take audiences from Castle Rock, Colorado to the South Pacific on a journey of little girl crushes to grown-woman heartbreak. Malone's one-woman show is part musical, part comedy, part tragedy (and part crush on Connie Chung).

Beth Malone is a writer and actress last seen at Diversionary in The Break-up Notebook. She made her Broadway debut creating the role of June Carter Cash in Ring of Fire. Her solo show, Beth Malone: So Far was recently scene at Joe's Pub, The Triad, Sterling's Upstairs, Upright Cabaret and The Wheeler Opera House. The show was written by Patricia Cotter with musical arrangements by Susan Draus.  It is produced and directed by Peter Schneider, the Tony-Award-winning producer of the internationally acclaimed Broadway musical The Lion King

Tickets for both shows are available at www.diversionary.org or by calling 619.220-0097.  Tickets are $20 for general admission; VIP tickets, including reserved seating and a cocktail are $29.

About Diversionary

Diversionary Theatre develops new works and produces plays and musicals that explore the issues, characters and stories of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community in all its complexity and diversity. Founded in 1986 to bring to light important social issues that impact the quality of life of LGBT people, the company has grown into a professional theatre company producing a season of mainstage plays and musicals as well as nurturing LGBT artists in the development of new works of theatre through new play commissions, readings and workshops.  We regularly collaborate with other theatre and arts groups to present special events and co-productions of mainstage plays, thus involving a wider arts community in our mission.
