Hairspray is based on the John Waters 1988 film of the same name and recently re-released with Zac Efron and John Travolta. The musical score sounds like it was blown straight from the 1960's with numbers to curl your lip with delight. Prepare a one-minute comedic monologue and bring a CD with pre-recorded accompaniment to sing one minute of a song at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido (CCAE), 340 North Escondido Boulevard, 92025 in Studio 3 & 4.
