Tina's Journey is a poignant play for young audiences and families, exploring themes of immigration and cultural identity. Following a young girl named Tina as she navigates the challenges of crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, the production features traditional Mexican masks and employs a blend of Spanish and English to tell its story. Directed by Alicia Martínez Álvarez and featuring David Lozano among the cast, this emotionally resonant work highlights the significance of heritage and community in the face of adversity. The production runs at the Dallas Latino Cultural Center from February 8 to February 23, 2025.
