Run, don't walk, to The Sheldon Vexler Theatre if you want to see a superb example of a British farce that will have you laughing out loud. Run for Your Wife by Ray Cooney is the story of a London cab driver named John Smith who has two wives that live in different parts of London. Life as John knows it is good until he rescues an elderly woman from muggers and winds up in the hospital. Then the jig is up. John's attempts to keep his double life from exploding is hindered by an upstairs neighbor, Stanley, who knows the truth and tries to help but only makes matters worse; two police detectives; one sexually charged wife; one play-by-the-rules wife; and a gay dressmaker.
