"Refried Flimflammery," by the writers of Loaded Gun Theory, opens tonight, May 16 at Sam Bass Community Theatre for six performances only.
"Refried Flimflammery" is an evening of short comedic adult plays that includes: "Best Served Cold... And Then a Little Hot" by E.D. Harelson, directed by Sara DeSoto, "A Whole New World" by Trey Deason, directed by Brett Weaver, "Ode to a Boise Boy on the Lancaster Bridge" by E.D. Harelson, directed by Kim Midkiff, "A Serial Killer in Love" by Trey Deason, directed by Veronica Prior, and "Cinderella in the Kingdom of Magic Realism" by Trey Deason, directed by Rhonda Roe.
This is the second evening of Loaded Gun Theory plays that Sam Bass Theatre has produced. This semi-annual event takes these short plays, originally produced for one night only as part of Loaded Gun Theory's annual "Slapdash Flimflammery" and gives them a re-interpretation and a longer run. If you haven't been to one of their riotously funny sell-out performances, here is a chance to experience one of the funniest nights of theatre of the year.
The cast includes Kat Tait, Matt Kalbfleish, Sara DeSoto, Johnny Strange, Rhonda Roe, Veronica Prior and Meredith Nelson.
Refried Flimflammery will run tonight, May 16th through May 24th with performances Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. Tickets are $18 general admission; $15 seniors, students, educators, and military; and $15 for all Thursday performances. To purchase tickets, visit
