LEGALLY BLONDE Holds Court at the Majestic

Omigod, you guys!  A musical version of Reese Witherspoon's girl-power silver screen blockbuster hit Legally Blonde is now playing at the Majestic Theatre for a limited engagement.

Nikki Bohne plays the blonde and determined (and brainy!) Elle Woods.  Her vocal performance is superb and carries the show effortlessly, as does her comedic timing, and she makes it highly enjoyable.  She is supported by Nic Rouleau as hard-working Emmett, college heartthrob Warner (Matthew Ragas), her ever-present/effervescent Greek Chorus of sorority sisters, stylist confidante Paulette (Jillian Wallach), nemesis Vivienne (Hannah Rose DeFlumeri) and of course, her chihuahua Bruiser Woods.  Legally Blonde:  The Musical follows a similar plotline as its namesake, but the musical numbers and a smattering of updated-for-the-times jokes give the production its own unique flair.

Legally Blonde:  The Musical is a cute, fun musical that is perfect for a girls' night out, so call up your bffs and make a plan for this weekend!  It's playing at the Majestic Theatre through January 23.  Tickets are available at Ticketmaster or the theatre box office.
